January. Introducing The Daily Reminder Feature
The year started with a significant enhancement – the introduction of the daily reminder feature. This addition was aimed at helping our users stay on top of their digital and emotional legacy, making it a part of their daily routine. Set the reminder when suits you best so you never miss a day. At the end of the year, you’ll have 365 kloks to enjoy, relive and share with those that matter the most. The reality is – time flies and we need a way to record and cherish the fleeting moments because they are the ones that bring us the most joy.
February. Klokbox Relaunch

March. Award from Local Enterprise
A proud moment for our team came in March when we were awarded by the local enterprise. This funding was a testament to the potential and impact of Klokbox, further fueling our passion and commitment to our mission. We also participated in the Kerry Enterprise Week at MTU, where we were invigorated by the presence of young entrepreneurs brimming with innovative ideas. Their passion and creativity were truly contagious. Also, we were honoured with a startup award, marking another milestone in our journey of innovation and growth.
April. Kerry in Business Radio Show

May. Expansion in New York

June. Team Meeting in Dingle – A Reunion to Remember

After navigating the challenges of remote work for two years, we finally had the opportunity to meet face-to-face in the picturesque town of Dingle, Ireland. This reunion was not just a meeting; it was a celebration of our resilience, teamwork, and the strong bond that we had forged over virtual platforms.
July. Reaching 800K+ People Online
July was a remarkable month for Klokbox, as we achieved a significant milestone that demonstrated our expanding influence in the digital world. We proudly reached over 800,000 people online, a number that not only represents a quantitative achievement but also underscores the growing interest and trust in the Klokbox platform.
August. Summer Campaign and Surfing Experience
August marked an exhilarating chapter in Klokbox’s journey with the launch of our innovative summer campaign. This initiative was not just a marketing strategy but a celebration of the season’s vibrancy and the joy of storytelling. The highlight of our campaign was offering a unique surfing experience to the creators of the best kloks – digital story boxes of summer memories. This move was a masterstroke in engaging our community, leading to a remarkable tripling of our reach and user base.

September. Meeting with Alone – Expanding Our Compassionate Reach
In September, we met with Alone – an esteemed charity organization committed to aiding those who feel isolated or lonely. This collaboration aligned perfectly with our core mission of connecting people and preserving memories. Extending our reach to a segment of the community that could greatly benefit from our services.
October. Launching Audio for Images – Adding a New Dimension to Memories
In October, Klokbox introduced an innovative feature that significantly enhanced the user experience – the ability to record audio for images. This groundbreaking functionality marked a new era in digital legacy preservation. Allowing users to add a deeper, more personal touch to their stories.
The audio for images feature was designed with the understanding that memories are not just visual but also auditory. By enabling users to attach voice recordings to their photos, we provided a way to capture the full essence of a moment. This feature allowed for the preservation of laughter, voices, and ambient sounds that are often integral to our memories but are lost in traditional photo storage.
November. Storybooks – Digital Storytelling & Bringing Stories to Life
Working on storybooks, we focused on transforming digital stories into beautifully crafted books. These storybooks were designed to be personalized. Users can curate their stories and experiences into a narrative format, complete with illustrations and creative layouts. The goal was to offer a digital manifestation of their stories and memories, something that could be relived, read, and passed down through generations.
December: Christmas Trees for the Lonely – Spreading Festive Cheer
As 2023 drew to a close, Klokbox embarked on a heartwarming initiative in December – delivering free Christmas trees to 50 individuals spending the holidays alone. This campaign was more than a gesture of goodwill. It was a way to bring warmth, joy, and a sense of companionship to those who might otherwise feel isolated during the festive season.
